The goals of the 15:13 Foundation are as follows
- Raising funds for Volunteer Search and Rescue Teams. Provide funding and support for training, gear, outreach, growth and sustainability of local Volunteer teams.This can include organizing events, applying for grants, or soliciting donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Provide Services and Guidance for Volunteer Search and Rescue Teams. Using our network of experienced SAR professionals provide guidance and assistance for teams that are struggling, or may just need a little push in the right direction.
- Raise awareness for Volunteer Search and Rescue Teams and the incredible service they provide their local communities. Many of these teams save the public millions whilst deploying after paid First Responders call off the search. performing life saving support and action in finding and bringing lo
- Influence Public Policy – Work with community leadership and other organizations to create positive impact and change. This can include lobbying for legislation or regulations that support their mission, or opposing legislation or regulations that do not.
- Create Collaboration across Search and Rescue Teams. Connect geographical seperated teams, share ‘war stories’ and advance the betterment of the Search and Rescue community.
